I think she is very attractive but she remains one of the most hated celebrities in Hollywood. Why? In 2019 Kamila Rivero wrote, "Paltrow can not relate to the average person and appears incredibly full of herself." Again, I think she's beautiful and I loved her in "Country Strong."

Kate Winslet was perfect for Titanic. The movie wouldn’t be as successful if not for her amazing performance of this young trapped woman yearning for life and freedom. Prior to Titanic she was nominated for oscar in Sense and Sensibility and actually also deserved a second one for her 1996 Hamlet movie. I saw Gwyneth in Emma 1996 (also Jane Austen like Sense and Sensibility), she’s a good actress but not as amazing as Kate. Kate Winslet’s body and face is also closer to the ideal in the Edwardian era (Titanic era) than Gwyneth.

James Cameron wanted Gwyneth for the Titanic role bc it was a rich, snobby aristocratic character, something very similar to Paltrow herself. But the latter scenes when the ship was sinking, the Rose character was very gutsy and brave, and I seriously doubt Gwyneth would've done a better job than Kate. I think Leo has better chemistry w Kate than he would've w Gwyneth, who looks more like Leo's aunt.
