Got trick or treaters today, the first trick or treaters were completely unexpected because of last year, and so I answered the door and whilst my family were rushing to get the sweets, they asked what I was supposed to be and my dumbass responded with "a sleep deprived teenager" I literally woke up a few hours prior, I wasn't tired at all, I was put on the spot, right after I remembered my plague doctor mask was on the shoe rack because I'm disorganized and I put it on and they thought it was great, they took so many sweets.... The second bunch of trick or treaters were younger, and this time I was more prepared, I answered the door with the mask on, the little girl that was in the group got really scared and looked pick she was going to cry so I had to take it off to reassure her that it was just a mask, it was probably her first proper Halloween, honestly she was so sweet after I took off the mask, they took a hand full each and the kids with the smaller hands got two handfulls, we've got extra for late trick or treaters cause there's always the late ones, this holiday reminds me of why some kids are just the cutest things ever, happy Halloween everybody
