The bloke with the tikka didn't have enough fore end on the front rest. That's why his group wasn't that good. Also wasn't zeroed to his bullets that's why he missed at 180 to the left

Excuses, excuses. Aim for the same spot on the target and the groups will be the same regardless the fore end.. Only legit excuse would be ammo selection. Tikka is typically finicky about ammo. Howa cold hammer forged barrels typically shoot a wider variety of loads better.. Just common knowledge.. Tikka’s are accurate, but it typically takes more time to figure out what they like.

I was watching the bloke with the Tikka. He was banging away at the trigger like he was plucking a guitar string. He needs some lessons on trigger control. Squeeze, follow through & let off. You can't expect good accuracy when you bang on the trigger like that. The results are no surprise to me though. I know Tikka have this awesome reputation but, I've yet to personally witness the reputation become reality. I've seen plenty of Howa's shoot lights out. Not so much the Tikka's.
@aussiegunners013 жыл бұрын
G'day mate!! Firstly thanks for the comment!! Yes he was jerking the trigger for sure! After we filmed it we showed him the footage!! He did another video with us "LITHGOW VS RUGER" with his new 223 and it's a vast improvement!! Have a look and see what you think! But as for the tikka rifle itself I just think there a nice rifle with a good reputation!!! Thanks for watching man!!!!!
@rotasaustralis3 жыл бұрын
@@aussiegunners01 I'll give it a look for sure. It is hard to keep your mind on everything all at the one time when trying to shoot the smallest group you can. I think good marksmanship is mostly training ourselves to be aware of all the aspects like trigger control, butt stock shoulder pocket position & pressure, breathing & etc. I did have a go at Ozzie, over on Ozzie reviews one time because he was conducting accuracy review segments in windy conditions. Not a good result & certainly not applicable to any particular rifles accuracy potential. Ozzie does really good reviews but, that one aspect peeved me & my arsehole ached as a result. I recently watched a review of the Howa HCR, I think it's called, where the Guy (a yank) was having all kinds of feeding issues cause he was using the wrong mag. Who knows how many that shit review will turn away from Howa's now, & into the future. Fuckin shit show I reckon &, these kinds of fuckups are all over KZbin. I just think that anyone putting out reviews on public platforms should have all their bases covered & be able to accurately portray whatever they are reviewing. It looks as though you blokes are onto though & I did otherwise enjoy the review. Regards..............Rotas

Great job guys I have quite a few rifles and shotguns myself I reload for seven calibers. I also have plenty of ammo. I've been buying ammo for years since i saw this coming during the obama years now it's out of control.. I never got hung up on the tightest groups. I don't own one rifle that doesn't have iron sights . I feel you should be proficient at 100 to 200 yards without a optic depending on the caliber All of you did well all in the kill zone give or take a inch. But what if your scope breaks your done. The 6.5 Creedmoore is temping to buy but I have enough, great round Not criticizing just a observation Well done stay safe.
