Seriously. Like, the closest I've ever gotten is just complimenting someone when walking by them in a store, I complimented a lady on her hair because it was a really nice shade of purple iirc, and then immediately moved on and did my best to avoid what I recognize as red flags, seeing as I'm a trans guy and have been on the other side of that kind of interaction. Basically, not looking back at someone after doing that, keeping your head down, don't make a ton of eye contact, just meet their eyes for a second to help get their attention, say compliment, duck your head down a tad and move on by. Easy, breezy, beautiful, covergirl, lol. Simple and non-threatening to the best of my abilities, especially seeing as a pass as a dude nowadays, and again, I know the tension of being on the other side of that kind of interaction. Don't try to start something with someone just based on attraction, that's kinda weird, or at least put it differently. Like, if you think someone looks cool, ask about their like accessories or hair, and that leads to a convo overall, cool beans, dude, but like, don't force that shit, that's fuckin' weird, man.

While it's true that women have learned to sometimes lie when saying "Sorry I have a boyfriend" when they want to turn someone down, should we not focus on why that seems to be the only effective way for a woman to say no to a *stranger* ? It's a product of a society that treats women solely as the property of men, either her father or her partner. A single woman saying no won't get you to leave her alone, but a woman with a boyfriend you can't see or hear is immediately respected because she's someone else's property.

"politicians wear navy suits because it makes you trust them more" okay, first, it's not working. I don't think it's possible for me to trust politicians less then I already do, changing their suit probably won't change that. Second, I'm pretty sure is because male fashion stagnated around the turn of the century and navy blue is the most acceptable color for men to wear that doesn't make them look like they're late for a funeral or gay. You see a lot more colors in the women's clothes, but even they conform to the men's standard because women are still in a sensitive position in leadership roles. also navy blue has kind of just become the most acceptable "professional" color, possibly because of aforementioned men's stagnation at the turn of the century which has discouraged anything other then neutral/dark colors, navy blue being the most interesting 'neutral'. They can't wear dark red because communism, and they can't wear dark green because that suggests military. Purple is on the table I guess, but no one wears dark purple. Plus I think people would have some words if a politician rocked up to a meeting in a leopard print tux. I would dig it personally, even if its tacky, you gotta appreciate the bravery/stupidity that comes from such a gesture.

I appreciate men discussing this because those men make it difficult for sane men to meet people. I have been married for quite some time now, but this is not new; it's just that they have a platform now. I was 8 months pregnant, getting a trolly at Waitrose, and a random man just grabbed it to "help" me, which fair enough I could appreciate if that were it. However, he then started asking if I were single, if the dad was in the picture, if I needed company when my husband was at work, just really cringe compliments, none of which were solicited. He walked down every aisle with me, grabbing things I wished to purchase, and I couldn't even waddle off being very pregnant. It went on for an hour, despite saying I was married, I had three other children, I was not interested... it didn't matter. The only reason he buggered off was because HE had to get somewhere, so nothing I said mattered one bit. I did not even want the food because he had touched it all. Our neighbourhood is small, so running into him again was not impossible. I used to say hello to everyone, but for some time, I simply just avoided making eye contact with anyone because I didn't want that trapped feeling again. Not even being married, with children and pregnant stops these types, and then we become suspicious of people's intentions. I wasn't even in the dating market, but he took me out of the "say hello to your neighbours," market as well, then we're told we're mean, arrogant, or whatever... No, just cautious and suspicious of intentions. He is only one person of the many I have seen in my life, but that interaction was so uncomfortable, I am still suspicious of "help," and it shouldn't be that way. Just say hi, and move on if people aren't receptive, male or female, it's creepy to insert yourself into someone's space without clear invitation.

Hey as an Australian who spent some of my 20s in the raver scene - cocaine is both hard to get and crazy expensive here, anyone who loves partying enough to travel to Vegas on the other side of the planet is proooobably gonna be asking for cocaine purely as it's not usually accessible over here The stuff we get is cut to heck if it even started as actual cocaine (Other drugs are everywhere here it's only cocaine that's rare for some reason)

This is the earliest I've ever been to a Jordan video. Wow. I haven't even watched it yet but my prediction is that it will be an excellent video. Will update when finished.

Update; that was an absolutely excellent video. My tummy ache is gone and the clouds have parted. Coincidence? Perhaps. Who am I to try to understand the workings of this would? I simply watch videos, like this one; this excellent video.

First off, it’s so refreshing to hear how shocking this type of content is to you 😅 I’ve been so used to it and encouraged to feel “complimented” when a guy decides to take up my time trying to convince me that I want him that I forget that behavior like that is rude in the first place! Now that I think about it….why is pick up artist even a thing?? Are women that complicated of a subject that you need an interpreter and a teacher to understand how to talk to us?? Have you tried, “hey, what’s up?”? Why do women even have to be the subject? Why can’t it just be, “hey it’s me, person on TikTok, I’m going to teach you how to be an approachable and enjoyable addition to humanity!” We’re all just people out here, man. Anyways, thanks for making me laugh through this incredibly annoying topic.

Actually, about the scalpel thing- I've worked in an OR as a secretary, and although I've never heard of a scalpel specifically being dropped, tools and instruments get trapped inside peoples' bodies more frequently than one would think! OR staff will do a count of all the tools/items they have both at the beginning and the end of the surgery to help prevent this. more specifically, i remember a surgical sponge being left inside a patient and they had to come back into surgery a few hours later once staff realized the mistake

One thing women love while working at our busy jobs making 75 cents on the dollar that men make for the same work is when instead of just saying "thank You" and giving a cash tip, is when customers aggressively keep talking to us thinking they can get a date.
