The party who ran the other tests and said that the tuna was fake didn't even let anyone see the results lol. Same thing happened with Taco Bell in 2011-2012 when some random group said that their beef was fake. These lawsuits are just a racket to get some money.

Im from Germany so I dont know if the ingredients are the same everywhere or if my translations are correct, but my favourite Tuna Sub is: Whole grain bread, tuna, bacon (I know it sounds weird but trust me), regular sliced cheese, spinach, red onion, corn, carrots, grated parmesan, salt & pepper and honey mustard sauce.

Subway Canada did a thing after a CBC marketplace test revealed that the chicken breast was only about 50% chicken. Subway ran their own tests to dispute this (really it needs to be a third party investigation - it's like me determining to you that i am infact not a liar after being accused of being one) - and they filed a defamation lawsuit that was thrown out in 2019 and appealed. They won the appeal a month ago and the lawsuit is back on.

Ok if you like tuna then I know a sandwich that you will love! It is tuna, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes ( optional tastes good without aswell ), salt, oil, and vinegar on wheat bread toasted. This sandwich is my favorite thing to get at Subway!

The problem is 'subway ran their own tests'. Sure ... cigarette makers 'ran their own tests' and found their product to not be harmful. If Subway really wanted to get clinical info on their product they have to get verifiable unattached, testing environs (say a testing accredited university lab) to run tests, and the lab posts results, not subway ... and subway can refer to those results. A company can say whatever it wants about it own product.
