For my curly hair routine: I shampoo my hair then wash it out then I use the “Marc Anthony strictly curls” conditioner and leave it in for about 5 minutes then I brush it with a shower wet brush and that does the untangle thing. I don’t wash out the conditioner. Next i dry my hair with a cotton t-shirt and then while it’s still wet, not soaking, I add the “Marc Anthony strictly curls” curl cream, “Shea moisture” curl cream, and any gel (DoNt use liquid gel) and then I section my hair and use the denman brush by going under my hair from the scalp and brushing up down to the bottom. That creates volume :) then I go back in with the t-shirt. I personally don’t use a defuser on my hair because it makes it frizzy! Then the next day I wet my hair a little bit and put more gel in but not a lot. I then put it half up and leave two strands in front! Hope that helped 😋

It’s pretty rare for people to have pencil straight hair, a lot of people just have unmanaged waves or curls. Avoid heat and try some of the curly hair care methods on yourself over a long period of time. If you’ve been using heat all your life you may have damage, and it may take some time to revive your waves/curls. Good luck!

I have a problem, my hair are destroid, especially the edges, they aren’t healthy at all, I would like to cut it a little bit, but my hair aren’t growing, I mean, I cut it once when I was four, they grey since then, but it doesn’t really look like they haven’t been cut for this much long. Do you have any tips for taking care of them without cutting, or do you know (if it exists, which I doubt) if there’s a way to make them grow? Thank you if you read/answer, hope you have a nice day 🌸
@guapochunkers39143 жыл бұрын
Hello! I had very damaged hair before cutting it all off and using oils. I suggest you research different oils to incorporate into ur hair routine to help repair and boost growth since cutting is not something you want to do, but I would say cutting it off helps a lot. So if you really struggling this is an option and it doesn't have to be too much. ( mostly just dead ends) This will help a lot! the oils u use will help with growth when cut if that is something you worry about. And make sure to look into shampoos and conditioners, these are important too. Some oils I suggest are extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil. Don't use the cheap crap stuff. Don't wash your hair every day, and sleep in a silk cap to prevent breakage. Do some research on how to incorporate these oils properly. Hope this helps and remember it takes time.
@teresa63873 жыл бұрын
@@guapochunkers3914 this is very helpful! Thank you so much Maybe I’ll try cutting like 2-5 centimeters, to see if it helps, not more because I’m afraid since it doesn’t grow anymore. I’ll look for some oils in the nearby farmacy, they probably have good ones. As for the silk cap, I don’t really know what it is/how it works, could you explain it? Again, thank you very much for all your tips
@guapochunkers39143 жыл бұрын
@@teresa6387 hello again! Glad I could help a bit. Silk cap are basically caps made of silk you put on your head at night when you sleep. They can help with moisture and prevent breakage, and your usual cotton pillowcase can cause breakage from friction and make your hair dry. There are silk caps but you can get a silk pillowcase if that's what you would prefer. There are some good ones on Amazon but I'm sure you can find one at a store. Again, glad I could help a bit. I wish I could send a link but it's not working lol. I forgot to mention sealing oils to help lock in the moisture. These are important as well. One I really like is jojoba oil. Hope it's getting better!

Denman brushes are made for styling so they’re the best option to go with, or another styling brush (you can find them pretty cheap on Amazon or online). You can use some regular brushes to define but it’s likely they won’t work as well and your curls will probably be looser. You should try with what you have first and see through!

I think first of all u should cut off some of your hair so that some split ends will go away. You will have to stop straightening yoir hair bc its very damaging, i think u already knew that, and then u can start the curly girl method. Choose the right products, right tools and right techniques of styling for your hair(you will figure this out from experience). You will start to see changes in like 2-3 months. Be patient. @ange41542 жыл бұрын
That's most likely just the heat damage, and also the fact that you're not adding much product when it's wet. Try adding a moisturizer after you condition your hair, or use a leave in conditioner (maybe both). For the most part just "listen" to your hair when it comes to the products you use. You'll be able to tell by how your hair feels if what you're doing is right or wrong for your hair. Try changing the brand before you change the product in case it's an ingredient being used and not the product itself

ok so when you wash your hair, only do it like twice a week if possible, it makes it healthier, and i recommend getting shampoo and conditioner from shea moisture, kristen ess, maui, or klorane. i use those brands and they are great. shampooing a little bit less is usually healthier and when putting in conditioner add a lot and brush your hair out in the shower with the conditioner in, leave it in for like 5 min before washing it out. after that to not damage your curls while drying it, use a tshirt and then brush it out again (make sure its still quite wet) then you can add any curl products that work best for you and scrunch your hair as much as possible, make sure the products dont contain alchohol tho bc that will dry it out
