0:35 Right away easier hack...cut the avocado, hit the pit with your knife, remove the pit, pull it off the knife. Takes 2 seconds and you don't have to mush up your avocado.

@@AleksBen36 That's user error and incompetence, not an inherent issue with the technique. I worked as a chef from 16 until right before my 3rd year of graduate school at 24. I have prepped tens of thousands of avocados this way without any issues.

I've actually done the blender one. Pour some dish soap and water. Then blend it. But if you do that to clean after use, you'll have to scrub it. Usually I did that to rinse it before use if the blender hasn't been used in a while

That one at like 7:01, I can affirm it as true. I don’t know if that container was that tight, but my entire life I’ve used knives to open impossible pickle jars and sorts. It 1000% works. Try it.

3:15 that is not really a life hack that's just common practice... like literally that's the official way of doing it. 8:39 or you could just you know open it normally . they do not have that much force to them. just have half your hand holding the bottleneck and the other half holding the cork then slowly twist and pull softly.

Hitting the top of a jar with a knife does usually work. But typically if I can't get one open, I smack (not hard) the lid on the edge of the table (rotating it) and it works too.

To be fair, he was right, at the time a lot of reaction channels were faking reactions for easy clicks from kids. Now they're getting less attention since those kids grew up and realised those dudes are not being themselves on camera. At the end of the day there's a difference between what Simon's doing rn and what channels like NoLifeShaq are doing lmao

The jar lid 'hack ' works , Simon . It is the fastest and easiest way to open a jar if you don't have one of the lid opener tools

For the jar part just slap it hard on the top and it will loosen 99% of the time and if it dont just slap it again and it will loosen.
