Hey just ANOTHER powder before Foundation ... tip. The order can also change based on texture of skin, what type of primer you are using, what kind of powder you are using etc. But in most cases, especially with drugstore powders, I would do the powder after primer.... but either way... it works 😝🖤 Also, the girl in the last clip, what I didn’t say - she has great skin, why cover it in all that foundation? You know I can’t stand excessive product! She messaged me and I messaged back. I mention to her how nice it is to see her skin texture, and that she doesn’t need to cover it so much 🖤

Most of those GIRLS dont know a lot about makeup and def not skincare. They know what they use and what they see on KZbin or Instagram AND what they see told to push that week or month. Especially just ones that work in the store some ppl who work at/in the mac or clinique part of ulta here actually know a little about both but still are pushing their products, it's so refreshing that the girl I constantly see that works for clinique will say no that's not what u want probably and actually recommend a good reasonably priced product from another brand she also is better than most at matching shades etc. As a 38 year old woman that loves makeup I'm not always ok with a 19 year olds recommendations and some of their makeup looks hideous and not at all natural which isn't everyone's cup of tea or what they're going for but my skills are better than a lot of them and if you ask a question they are usually clueless or just say ask someone else. I like a store who employs all types and ages not just college students and teenagers following KZbin tutorials and sadly that's basically what is there

Ever since Robert mentioned in a vid that KZbinrs get paid, or maybe just paid more idk, from watching the whole ad on their videos I’ve started watching the ads all the way thru on his channel instead of skipping them (unless they’re like 2min long bc I can’t wait that long to finish watching lolol)💜🖤

That eyelash glue "technique" is just the way I put eyelashes on everytime. I've been doing it for years. I didn't really think of it as a technique! If I am using it in daytime I actually prefer using a super thin line of clear glue and then putting liquid eyeliner on top. It just looks more natural and less "thick." Although the black glue is a time saver!

When I clean my brushes I use a silicone mat and soap, then rinse them. Then I slightly dry them and put these brush shapers on them I got from Amazon. It reshapes the bristles back to how they were when new.
@jos.42764 жыл бұрын
Same, except for the cream/foundation brushes and beauty sponges Dawn dish soap is the only thing to get them really clean. I've tried Sigma, castille soap, all kinds of stuff.

@@jos.4276 I'm cheap and but cheap brushes/sponges so I honestly just use a bar of soap? Just Jergens. Works really well.

Márcia omg I know. It’s one thing to add a drop of oil which is good for dry skin, but that was a helluva lot! Omg my skin is screaming for her.

You’re a joy to watch and so knowledgeable to boot! Loved this! So amazing to have you debunking makeup myths that spread like wildfire in the beauty community to keep things in perspective. I’d love to see you react to a more mature beauty influencer. One from a smaller channel called Hot n flashy would be great! Her name is Angie, and she is lovely! Her makeup is always beautiful, her techniques seem very approachable and flattering, and she somehow seems to age in reverse! It’s incredible! I think she would have a very different and refreshing perspective for you to analyze than the preteens on Tik Tok provide. ☺️ So happy to be a subscriber and can’t wait for your next video to drop! Love from NOLA!

I basically never wear falsies out of my house but when I do I always apply a thin layer of (clear) glue on the lash line of my lids AND on the lash band AND I swear they stay put all day, do not move or pop up at all when I apply them and I strangely find them easier to apply 😍 Btw I use the duo lash glue too (I have the one without the thin apllicator so I use a small eyeliner/lip brush) , just be very careful when you remove your lashes since with this method the hold is extra strong 😉

I have a question, a comment and compliment for you. I absolutely love you and James! Watching you both brightens my day. I can also verify your “baking is bad” comments. I tried it once, and as as a mature lady, it was a disaster! My question is about mascara. I always seem to have itchy eyes by the end of the day, unless I use a waterproof mascara. How bad is it to use waterproof daily? I do use an oil as my first cleanse and then a Japanese” wrinkle” product for my second cleanse, toner and moisturizer
