"I only used 2.5 of the 5 minutes" That doesn't matter. He shouldn't have even instigated it in the first place. Then the guy leaves it up to his subs to determine if it was OK or not?! Bull Crap! Own up to your error and apologize. The only reason that all parties agreed to any of this was because there was a camera there and they didn't want to create a scene. No one wants to become the next entry to r/publicfreakout due to someone else's lack of etiquette.

I wonder if any part of him realized that wasn’t ok, but went ahead and did it anyway. It was a post-wedding session months later, so, at least the very generous photographer wasn’t on as strict of a time schedule. That would have made it even worse.
