TikTok Prepares to Challenge US Divest-or-Ban Law in Court

TikTok said legislation passed by the US that would force its Chinese parent company ByteDance Ltd. to sell its stake or face a total ban of the app in America is “unconstitutional.” Alex Barinka reports on Bloomberg Television about the social media platform's vow to challenge the new law in court.

Cause India has a very loose definition of “free speech” in its Constitution in which they can ban an app. The U.S. Constitution has a strict definition on free speech limitations. So it’s easy to win a case in court against the government based on free speech.
