I'm a Mental Health professional and educator from the USA, but living in the Middle East. Someone mentioned and recommended you in a conversation as we were discussing war-time trauma. What I have noticed over the years is that (I can only speak for the Gulf Region), they typically don't discuss politics and teachers are told not to mention "sensitive topics" such as this one, because it makes people uncomfortable. The young people really want to know and are very passionate about it, but its the adults who constantly shield them from talking/learning about these events. It speaks to the weakness of countries in the MENA region in terms of standing up against western countries....or even ACTUALLY unifying. This was really refreshing.

Mashallah I could not agree more . I was just the other day thinking how can they destroy and torture the land , God’s earth this badly. How can someone who belongs to that land can destroy it with such aggression. It’s just because they are not attached to that land at all . Rather they are outsiders robbing the land and people.
