The Hot Tools is good for someone with long hair. The Calista definitely is the most like the Amika. The Drybar gives you ringlets. It costs more than the Amika!!! I tried one from Head Kandy. It has infrared heat and gives nice results!!

I have the hot tools one, I love it, but I find that it's easy to get my hair stuck if i'm not paying attention and it mostly straightens and just bends the end. I definitely want to try the drybar wand. I appreciate there are high heat settings which my thick coarse hair needs, unlike GHD.

Hi Julissa. I saw on tiktok that you were using the wavytalk. Could you do a full tutorial of how to get that blow-out look with that brush? The videos I've watched so far, just focus on the ends, but I know that you would show us how to focus on root to tip for volume.

We had a rotacional brush years ago, I guess my mom bought it in 2012. It’s useless, it may work to curl the ends but it doesn’t work to actually blowout your hair. My mom’s was from polishop. I don’t see the point of buying another hair tool just for that, I can get the same thing from hot rollers or airwrap

Yes! Because it’s supposed to pull all the oils from your scalp your ends normally aren’t oily
