One thing I can say if you use a 2x on the XM4 you really feel the recoil a lot but when you put a reflex scope on it, it literally beams but you need a barrel for range

What's crazy is this is actually is the best setup for the XM4. The barrels do nothing for the XM4 and 4 of them hurts the BV. So the only thing he can change is try the bruiser but the field agent still helps with horizontal recoil. Use a 60 round fasg mag and if he wants better shooting move speed, take the laser off for a stock.

My setup is agency suppressor visiontech 2x sas combat stock bruiser grip salvo 60 round, it sounds weird but the attachments are broken on this gun so they do things that it doesn't say for the xm4. Seacondary is Mac 10 and I'm only level 30 and very new but I almost Win all my gunfights with them

The reason it doesn't have a barrel is because all the barrels either do nothing or reduce bullet velocity. The bruiser grip does reduce vertical recoil by like 5% more than Field Agent, but it doesn't do anything for horizontal recoil. I'd switch out the laser for some sort of stock though.
