They would prank steal a car and keep it for a certain amount of time and then give it back to the owner. However, when a car got Foosted, it was in full nonrunning project mode and when they gave the car it was a finished, (Sometimes almost finish but got it after it was finished just to make a scheduled onscrene reveal.) car with brand new everything. In this case, the car came back as is as it was when it was "stolen". Signed-Richard.

As someone who has had his car stolen is a pretty surreal experience. You wake up balls ass early to go to work. You go outside. It's a normal day and your car is gone. Surely no one stole your car so you're thinking maybe it rolled somewhere. Maybe it rolled out into the street rolled into a different parking spot, but it's not there. Then you call the cops

There is no wait period to report a stolen vehicle. As soon as you know your car is stolen report it to the police. However, before contacting police, check with your parents {friends/SO} to see if they have moved the car or are using it first. Once you know it is indeed theft, then contact police and your insurer immediately. There's a processing period for your insurance company to right it off as a loss and that varies from company to company.

I believe he meant there’s a wait period to report a stolen car before it is considered unstolen. If you wake up and see your car is missing call the police right away. If you see someone steal your car in front of your eyes call the police. I have a friend that does landscaping, he was at a house in Cleveland and saw someone pulling door handles on cars in the street. He was in a black bmw and got the license plate number. He didn’t call the police right away since he was busy with a customer’s house. 2 hours later he called the police and the police said “it happened too long ago doesn’t matter if you got his plate, this information is useless.”

You're not just "allowed" to call the cops after your car is stolen... you're kind of obliged to. The thing is you need the police report to prove your innocence if a crime is committed in your car. For example, my car license plate was stolen in California and I had to submit the police report to get the toll violations reversed that we attached to my license plate. If you don't report your car as stolen and it gets caught on CCTV in connection with a crime, you might end up needing to get legal assistance just to make that situation go away... Please. File a f*cking police report, which is done by calling the cops and when they show up, they will file the report and give you a reference number that you can use to verify your innocence.

Even then the waiting period to report a missing person is a myth. If the car is gone, if a person is gone, report it immediately and pray.
