Moved into a rental house of an ex Scientologist, they were parked out side of our house for months, checking our mail, frequently knocking on our door and asking about our dog, one which we never showed them before, and asking where the guy was as if we were hiding him, it took yelling at them about how this is a rental home and if you don’t believe he’s not here anymore you can take it up with the landlord to finally get them off our backs.

When I was growing up my dad was a huge SciFi dude and he used to watch a bunch of weird movies and read weird books but little me was mostly unaware of the content. When Leah Remini came out with her expose on Scientology, the name LRH always sounded vaguely familiar to me and I could never figure out why. Fast forward several years, I am 30 and having a convo with my older sister. She tells me that my dad started practicing Scientology in the 90s/00s and it was an issue for my very Catholic mother. I was in disbelief and then a bunch of memories came back to me. I looked up some of LRH books and they were covers I remember in my Dad’s collection. My parents broke up soon after due to his infidelity but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about what he does/practices now religiously and what would have happened if they stayed together. Would I have been in this cult?? Shits crazy

I used to live in Clearwater, Florida (ew Florida) and that’s where the sea org HQ is. They own around 70% of all downtown property and even have people on the city council. They have fake homeless people with radios watching people waking the sidewalks and even have cameras and microphones all over the city in areas they own property. It’s like something out of a movie, people have went missing, they force parents to abandon their families if they won’t convert, etc. they even have allegedly held members captive in the old hotel they purchased, which they do actually do at a location somewhere in California. Props to you guys for talking about them, those running Scientology are evil af.

Another good one is Doug Kramer from Dazed but not Confused. He passed away beginning of December, but his page is still up there. I watch several Scientology sites, but don’t trust all of them. Doug was a truth teller. Aaron Smith-Levin is another good one. His page is Growing up in Scientology. All I have mentioned are 2nd generations and were born and raised in it but escaped.

I went to one of the centers to act as a background actor in training videos when I was around 20, in 2010. I knew Scientology was problematic but I was not that informed. It was SO CREEPY. All of the actors started talking about how unnerving the people and location was. They had banners of the SeaOrg and Scientology music blaring like in a church in the leisure areas and outside. One of the extras was asked to riff as if he were teaching a class and he sort of started making fun/light of it and the person in charge of us (a Scientologist) got super angry and talked to him freakingly sternly. In the room we were filming that part there was this ceiling-height, ten-commandments like list of the tenants of Scientology. Everyone was dressed in these belted khaki pants and were going in and out of this key-card restricted area. The creepiest thing though was the kids that were hanging around. I definitely went in just thinking Scientology was weird and I left knowing something was really wrong there.

I wondered what they will do when i say them that I'm totally broke. They tried to sell me their "courses" and books, but i kept my ground. Then Mistavige or whatever his name is filed hundreds of lawsuits to the IRS to be delcared a Church and not pay taxes. That 50 a week should be 2000. And they take taxes from that 50, so it/s 47.50, and they KEEP the Taxes they take from pay. they will also take your pay if you don't attend an event, or are late for work, or don't recruit enough. If you want to leave Sea Org, but remain in Scientology, you have to do hard labor for 6 months to a year while they keep trying to get you to stay. It's a CULT.
