Hey Kris, great video as always, funny and makes everyone in a good mood. I just wanted to clarify something though. In the toilet seat sawing clip at 11:28, the hacksaw’s blade was turned inwards and the dad was sawing from the inside out so the kid was pretty much safe. If he saw from the outside towards the kid’s face, then it would have been extremely dangerous. I hope nobody is that dumb to do that. Anyways, just wanted to point that out. Love from Mauritius. Hey Kris, just to let you know, a Hack Saw can have the blade reversed so when the dad was cutting his kid out of the toilet seat, the sharp part is actually facing away from the baby so there is no risk of the kid getting cut, and thats why the saw was working its way out towards the dad and not inward towards the kid. Otherwise your content is amazing and I really enjoy watching your videos ❤🤟🏻😁

Indeed. This is much safer than the special scissors she talked about (shattering the plastic et cetera). The only thing I'm critic about in that vid, is that the mother indeed wouldn't get the head up instead of filming. Calling them bad parents is way too harsh, it would be nice to see apologies for that.

The dad with the hacksaw is actually pretty smart. He put the blade on backwards, facing into the saw handle, with the toilet seat trapped inside the handle as well, and is sawing away from the child.

Hey Kris, just an FYI from a mechanic. The baby with a hacksaw scene was completely safe. The parents had the forethought to turn the blade around and adjusting INSIDE the object to be sawn. The portion of the blade facing towards the child posed no danger as that side of the blade is blunt. Hope that clears anyone's conscience

yeah, my mum never believed my broken bones either, in fact, funny stories; 1. She left me outside in the snow after coming out to yell at me, not once, but twice! because her flippin' dinnerparty was more important than my pain (I had broken my leg and couldn't move. I laid there for over an hour). And 2. She insisted that I was "overreacting" and refused to take me to hospital another time, my dad finally convinced her about 3 weeks later, and x-rays confirmed that my shoulder and elbow were both broken. What the heck. My sister and I were riding horses and the horse she was on stepped in a hole and she got bucked off and hit her arm on the saddle on the way down. Broke her arm. Just wanted to say that, as a preschool teacher, using the hacksaw like that is probably safer than trying to use scissors. That plastic is thicc, and scissors are gonna flick around and maybe even hit the kids eye but the edge off the hacksaw blade that was facing the kid is blunt so even if he had throw his forhead at it damage would have been minimal. The other alternative would be to heat it and melt the plastic and that would be even more dangerous.

About the hacksaw clip, it looks to me like the father has removed the blade, slipped it through the toilet seat, reversed it and reattached it to the saw backwards. You can see it's cutting outwards, away from the child, not inward, meaning the edge of the saw blade facing the child is the smooth one. They're fine - the only thing they really risk here is getting smacked in the face by the moving handle.

Yes, the father reversed the blade. It looks little off but babies/toddlers are picking up every emotion from the parent. The kid was so calm and trusted his dad because of that. A parent must know how to turn any situation to a play. Like when a kid falls you can't panic,cause you'll have one screaming / crying kid and you'll need wonder to make him stop. That kid was so adorable and he surely did learn a lesson.

OMG thank you! I love that Kris is team no kids! It’s one of the many reasons I relate to her! I literally have a fear of babies and toddlers! I am a germaphobe and an introvert who does have to have my man pay my bills while I go to school full time and play house wife, because I can’t keep a job that doesn’t require a college degree. The hacksaw was actually pretty well done. If you look closely, the sharp part of the blade is pointed away from the baby so as long as the baby doesn't grab the blade and the dad uses the tool properly, the baby won't get hurt

Kris, don't have a stroke it's ok. The video of the parents sawing the toilet seat off the baby is fine and the child is totally safe. The parents had the blade of the hacksaw on backwards so it was cutting towards the parent who was doing the cutting and not cutting towards the baby. Yeah, the video had me worried as well, but after a while it got pretty clear they're sawing away from the kid not in the child's direction fortunately.

Yup. I was gonna say the same thing. They said to look up so he didn't bump his head on the handle. Smart dad had to put the blade through the seat and attach it backwards on the inside of the seat before sawing.

My parents haven't been living together for 5 or 6 years now. Talking with father was awkward and still is. When my son was little. We went to a public bathroom and I told him to hurry up and pee because I also had to pee. He scooted over slightly and told me I could pee at the same time as him because he thought I could pee standing up. I told him I couldn't pee standing up because I don't have a penis and he laughed and said" mommy don't be silly. You have a penis." I could hear the woman in the stall next to us snickering as I tried to explain to him why I don't have a penis.
