Good luck I’ve had mine for about a month now the first two weeks really hurt but what I did was get plain vanilla ice cream and it really helped with the pain, and when they tighten the wires your teeth might be a little sore for 2 to 3 days but then it goes away after a while get some ice cream also to help when they tighten it, good luck you’re gonna need it but at least after you get your Hollywood smile.😊

See my problem with retainers is that I had no idea it was a forever thing until after I got my braces off. I wore mine all the time consistently for 3 months, then one day I took it out, forgot to put it back on, and never wore it again.

But listen, just recently I went back to wearing every other night, during many years I wore once a week or even less. Hey Bentist, I’m thinking about growing up to do dentistry but now I’m stuck at a problem. I’m currently a junior in high school and I don’t know what steps I should take to get into dentistry. I’m already looking at some schools and doing classes and extra activities that would be better suited for dentistry, but I really don’t know what to do. I would be the first generation in my family to go down that route so can I please get some advice? Also in your opinion is dentistry or orthodontics a better career choice and why? I want to decide which one I can do soon Thank you!

Don’t know if you’re already aware, but orthodontics is a specialty after completing the requirements to become a ‘general’ dentist. Currently working on preclinicals but I live outside NA. Good luck to you and your college journey.

Dentist are shouting out what they now. Brush 2 times a day. And use mouthwater. This is a standard they all say and use. For most people it will act out positive i think. But your dentist will never explain you why and what specific things does inside your mouth. To be honoust, the second time on your day you use a dental product in your mouth. It can do damage. Many people are not using suger, they replaced it. These materials can cause other things. But dentists have no overseight of your health. Same as normal docters. They work as they are teached. They are human. The step further you wish from a medical perso n. You will have to help yourself. And do it before you need help.

Ahh, you made something for stones? I have them, and it's been a bitch. The method I've been doing is tricky: I have a small LED tea light, a flat curved dental tool, and a baby oral syringe that came with a short bit of plastic tubing. So, depending on which crypt and how much the stone has come out, I have to hold all three items while working dyslexically in a mirror to get the tube over the stone and suck it out, sometimes using the flat edge to push aside that flap of flesh that's on the side of the mouth just in front of the tonsils. Both my dentist and my ear-nose-throat doctor have not given me any practical methods of cleaning besides tonsil removal, and I don't really want to go _that_ far. So with that in mind: perhaps some kind of light attachment or LED in the next version of your device, so we can more easily target the crypts?
