Actually it a copy of the Kenyan tv shoe skyy girls KE on KZbin or kenyan citizen tv, it not freshly zambian cause it a copy it also the same with another mozambique tv show same concept The sturynis of a girl who comes from the poor medium low class she gets into the rich kids school and does not feel accepted, while the others are getting picked up by their drivers the poor girl takes the bus home everyday, and as time goes by she asks herself if people sill like her or not and she start to feel pressure to hang with the rich kids. And on the first day she meets this girls and they become friends and later on they don't talk much because the poor girl dumped her and went of partying with the rich student and one of the guy forced or let say abuses her and make her smoke when she did not want all that to fit in. For the kenyan original version there are 6 episode 1 season

Not realistic. It's giving western culture.. From the way they speak to the way they dress. Not relatable. There's completely no way students would hate you for no reason on the first day of school. It has never happend. There's little to no chance most teens would be invited to a skinny dipping party. WE NEED REAL LIFE SITUATIONS. Also, that one girls wig makes me feel uncomfortable, the edges weren't done properly. The drunk man acted very well🖤👏🏾👏🏾kudos to that.

First of all, this episode doesn't come as strikingly interesting and impressive. I was not hooked for the first five minutes and continued watching to see how the story's direction would go. The handling of characters seems very off if you had to put it in a real perspective of how teenagers socialize and make friends. For example, the character Nandile comes off as a flat character and I would rather have Taizya as the main protagonist to follow because of what she has going on in her family. Nandile could have been interesting if she wasn't an easily manipulated person but rather someone who could actually see the good and bad company of friends. This episode fails to show the contrast between two ideas conflicting with each other which gives a boring first episode. The casting is fairly great but they could improve and add more seriousness and emotion. Overall, there is a need to seriously improve the way we portray our stories in Zambia and take teenage social issues very seriously. You don't have to have a fancy school set up to bring your point across, keep it real and grounded, that is entertaining. And this episode failed to do so. Side note, this doesn't feel like a ZAMBIAN TEEN DRAMA to me, it comes as this American teen drama.

Then what's the point of the show. If it's our first "ZAMBIAN TEEN DRAMA" then why do a non-Zambian story. Why promote something else than our own story. We haven't even reach that point were our industry is saturated with Zambian movies or series that we can look forward to other stories told in a different light. Besides if you can't make your Zambian stories interesting for the international community to enjoy and decide to run to non-Zambian stories to tell, then we have no pride in ourselves and the rich stories we have. Meaning even the social issues teenagers go through in Zambia will be addressed differently and they will think that is how it is here when its not.

I really feel like this series is so cliche to be honest. Most of the things that happen in this series don't happen in most Zambian homes, maybe for rich people but I doubt it. It doesn't really depict Zambian home and school situations. I'm not the only one that thinks that and please respect my review cause you people need to change this. Deep down you know this is not even what happens eish. I think it's more foreign than Zambian please.
