@@TheRestorerTIPS always replace if possible. Often extra tiles are not available. I’ve never had good luck with repairing ceramic. Tenax epoxy with a color kit will match most anything.

Plus, it would be difficult for someone like myself that doesn't know anything about doing tile to replace it in the first place. For me personally, doing a repair would be the best option over replacing the entire tile. 😉

Make the crack a bit wider, I suggest using a Dremel tool or the edge of a file, so that the two part epoxy has someting to adhere to. Then repair the tile as shown in the video.

Great work, but if someone doesn't have your panoply of equipment, how would grinding up the bits of ceramic tile and mixing that into the putty fare with regards to colour matching and strength?
