Untinted? Why would you think that's a word? Now, frib and amrit -- those are proper words! (I just used untinted in conversation yesterday. The other person didn't seem terribly confused, so if it's not a word, it's definitely doing a word's job)

You don’t even need to. That’d be detinted. Untinted just means you haven’t had them tinted yet!

tbf opp would still hv simple 2x2 options (RE(N)DEReD etc) even if the opening bingo were spotted... the games still not over 4 them 🙂 surprised by the miss of OCA rather than ACE... AEIN def a much cleaner leave isnt it? would hv set up ZENAIDA next go (AEONIC not terrible either). also - ZOA instead of ZA?

All about fractions but oca instead of ace in the same spot would've led to zenaida/ha next turn.

I played my firs,t scrabble game against an actual person yesterday and I froze...it was a 15 min game but even if I had the time I would not have seen what was on, you said in a previous video that you had already seen that you had missed a couple of 9 letter words in the championships, just remember that on the spot right there in the thick of it this is not an easy game, you are thinking of several things...score rack leave bingos....lets not try and open the board up here ect. its a clusterfudge :) you wont find that in the card box... :) ... you know why

used to play when we were kids, we played that if you laid down a word, and it was rejected as not being valid, you lost your go- were we wrong to play that rule?

That is still the rule but on ISC you have the option to not lose your turn. I use this option for videos for this channel to level the playing field against opponents who use word checkers. This also avoids minutes of dead time while I slip into a deep meditation contemplating the validity of a word

I don't like POMO at all. It felt far too defensive given the score. I thought either OVA or NOVA hooking ADIT introducing new bingo threats offered more chances of eking one out. What do you reckon?

Agreed, didn't give proper attention to the DIT hooks at this stage

Yes, all the 7's and 8's, but don't always manage to recall them successfully in games
