It's fairly typical. A lot of Drs, Oncologists & specialist cancer surgeons warn a guy there's good odds the wife will abandon if it gets real bad. Most guys will stick it out thru sickness & health no matter what. Some women will, but many modern women don't seem to have a sense of loyalty. Not sure why. I personally saw this with a friend with a brain tumour. She walked away, couldn't deal with it & left. Frank was devastated by this, he died 14 months later & when she wanted to come to the funeral we all told her to get lost. Bit¢h.

I got married over 20 years ago and in the first 5 years, my wife was diagnosed with brain cancer and the cancer robbed me of most of my wife's short term memory and so so much more! But I didn't give up on her and she is still here with me. I can't understand the lack of empathy and love for the oath of marriage. For better or worse and sickness and health, richer or poorer. Our youth are going to destroy everything we hold dear.
@tsgrandma9837 Жыл бұрын
I don't blame our youth as much as society as a whole for moral destruction. The need to be popular leads to greed. When one is willing to pay $1,000 for a pair of shoes or hundreds for a simple shirt because of who designed it, that's a problem. Living like a rich person on a poor persons budget is a problem. Discipline is nearly a "thing" of the past, being taught to live by emotions and feelings, which are fleeting and ever changing, is a problem. Not holding people accountable for their actions is a problem. All of which, (and more), is what is causing this destruction and that can't simply be placed solely upon our youth.

I had my own health issues going on, but he never knew because the last three years of his life were to care for him. He passed away six years ago, and I'm still traumatized for the way he treated me, but that doesn't matter. He passed in a peaceful environment.
