Actually, Imane was (allegedly) confirmed to be intersex, possessing ambiguous genitalia. And based on childhood photos, she appears to have been raised female. I think given the extremely conservative politics of her home country, it’s very dangerous to misrepresent her as simply “a biological man in disguise.” Intersex people can be murdered for rhetoric like this. Olympics aside, I hope she’s still safe.

Sports have always catered to the best, except in rare cases that the coach favors his unskilled son over other athletes. After the little leagues, teams and individuals aim to win. Little league and casual sports are fun and games, but entering high school and beyond, there's scholarships and money at stake, the whole reason post high school Sports make so much money is because people pay to see it. If people don't want to pay money to see a not woman beat up women, the sport will lose money and women beat by the not woman will lose money. For fairness, DSD and transgender athletes should be banned from competitive Sports. People dont want to see it and women don't want to lose to half men or barely women, women want to compete with women and that's what people want to see. Again people don't have a right to play sports, it's a privilege that is earned and caters to the best and is centered on fairness.

The thing is, the IOC were told TWO years before the last Olympics that a test had come back with a 'male' result. This was confirmed to the IOC after a second test a year later.... and still a year BEFORE the last Olympics. Some Law Firm should take on a Class Action on behalf of all the women competitors!

I remember watching the Gold medal match, and Imame was so much bigger and stronger in the shoulders, the arms, quicker reflexes, much more muscle mass. Imame was popping the opponent pretty easily - the opponent was a Chinese girl (who I remember was very good) she gave a an excellent account of herself.. The Chinese competitor was clearly trained in combat sports - she was in there trying her guts out and did okay.. But she's in there against a biological man, who has 40% more muscle mass (even in the same weight class), faster, stronger, quicker reflexes, stronger neck, stronger chin, so he can take a bigger punch.. What an absolute farce.
