Leo!! Thanks Mate. The most difficult part of the song was the vocals . . . how fast they track. As far as the 'number of takes' go . . . I learned a while ago (when I started this YT thing), not to begin recording until I have the song down. So! I record no more than four times and choose the one I like out of those! . . . . . mind you, most of the time I want to go on until I get the 'perfect' take but how many times is enough?? 🤷🏻‍♂️ We are still in lockdown in Melbourne Leo! Yeah Leo! Scott Morrison is THE biggest BSA in Australia's history, that's for sure! Having said that, the Premiers of each state put us in 'lockdown' and our Premier is really good but this 'Delta' variant is so contagious and I think he and others have come to realise that we have to learn how to live with the virus. Morrison completely botched the vaccination purchasing and distribution. Yes! Thanks Mate. We need a bit of luck Leo! I have always been reasonably okay with lockdown because I thought (especially after last year's lockdown) it was necessary, but the Delta thing is so different in comparison. We need to get out of this ASAP!

I like the Bang, bang part and the foot tapping like a metronome, right in my wheel house. I have new ideas of how to make it easy on your end...how did you do those 2 parts? Mate! I had a small practice amp (Roland - micro cube) next to me with a feed coming from my laptop playing prepared LPX tracks (2), one with a kick drum and the other with only three snare drum hits. I got the song together and went to record and thought it was a tad empty so I tried the drum in the mix and it seemed to work so I ran with it! Great to hear you are having some weather up there as I know how dry it's been of late. Yes!!! We can hose and hose and then hose some more, and that keeps the plants/grass alive, but there is nothing quite like rain. It's amazing! I would love to think you have found an easier way to collaborate Loo! Great news!
