I mean if you use surge it swaps the mechanical powers for black suit stuff if you have that equipped but I don't really care for the oc arm abilities and the symbiote powers make fighting the symbiots a breaze so just keep em equipped 247

It'll become the greatest Spider-Man combat system to ever exist. But sadly, it didn't come in Spider-Man 2, but i for sure believe Spider-Man 3 will deliver such complexity (mechanics' wise) in the combat system. Hopefully 🤞.

In Spider-Man 1, you go to Ryker’s prison and this is when Dr Octopus forms the Sinister Six and the story escalates to its true arc. Kingpin helps Spider-Man against Martin Li. In Web of Shadows, Kingpin helps Spider-Man free the tinkerer. You also have to protect the Fisk Tower construction in Spider-Man 1. You have to do this in Web of Shadows’ as well. After the escalation of the story, the city is militarized by a private sci-fi army. In Web of Shadows, it is SHIELD. In Spider-Man 1, it is SABLE. In Web of Shadows, SHIELD is led by Black Widow, a woman with a thick Russian accent who hates you. In Spider-Man 1, SABLE is led by Silver Sable, a woman with a thick Russian accent who hates you. Then you have the fact that you can now bring citizens to hospitals and you can find and help other super heroes fighting crime. Despite Spider-Man 2 having more blatant examples of copying Web of Shadows, Spider-Man 1 copied so much more it’s basically “Web of Shadows but without the symbiotes” while Spider-Man 2 is basically “A game with the plot of Web of Shadows but without two thirds of the things that made Web of Shadows great.” Sometimes, it’s like Insomniac originally wanted to just remaster Web of Shadows and Activision said “no”, so they just made two games that are heavily inspired by it. Not only is Web of Shadows better than these two games, it’s also undeniably clear that these two games wouldn’t be shit without Web of Shadows.
