Hi Susan, we met at huddle, but didn't get to spend any time together. It is nice to see an older couple out on the road. Enjoy your adventures!

Never heard of Tillamook before. If you're a real fan of cheese curds and ice cream, though, you need to head East to the Midwest and try some Wisconsin cheese curds (regular and fried) and Milwaukee frozen custard. You can get cheese curds at most grocery stores throughout the state and most cities have at least one custard joint restaurant.

We’re going to the other side of the country on our next trip so we’ll have to keep that in mind. Thanks for following along on our trip.

The dairy industry is extremely cruel. Did you know that cows are forcibly bred every year to produce milk. Did you know that when the babies are born they are taken from their mother not allowed to have their mothers milk. The babies milk is sold to humans for profit. Have you ever wondered why grown people who should be weaned are drinking another species milk, can that be normal ? The MALE babies are killed shortly after birth, usually shot ,killed by blunt force trauma or left to starve to death because they don't produce milk. Some males are kept in very small enclosures such as the one in your video. They have very little room to move so their muscles will remain soft and then they are sold as veal. Some males babies are kept chained up until they are murdered for veal or their calf skin. Cows are very maternal animals and cry and grieve for weeks after their babies have been taken from them. This cycle is repeated every year until the cow is worn out and is sent to slaughter usually around the age of 5 or 6. Cows will naturally live into their 20's. Did you know billions of Male chicks are ground up alive because they don't lay eggs. Every time you buy eggs and cheese babies and mothers die. Please research the egg and Dairy industries.
