@ I missed out on a smaller fount Tilley R1 a few months back… kick myself everyday for not snagging it. I think it would do really well in an ice fishing shanty!

I really really, really enjoyed this video!😉😎👍🏻 I'm confused though. The wick helps light the bulb above? Very interesting. I have to agree with Sean, you like to live a bit on the wild side. I think I have tried lighting it outside 1st time around. It is an awesome piece! 😎👍🏻🔥

The wick is technically not necessary if you preheat with a torch. However, they sell a clip that goes on but below the generator the clips have asbestos or some sort of fire retarded material that can soak up alcohol and then be clipped on for a pre heat , same principle as lighting a kerosene lantern with the warming cup . my idea worked. However, I need to use a different material so it can be reused .

Thank yoh so much 🙏 , I used a microfiber rag and kerosene to clean the dish really good , then mothers mag polish and a buffing wheel on a drill ( slowly) have a great week !

That is wild. Never seen one. Works great too. You might try alcohol in the wick to avoid the smoke. Cleaned up very nice. Is this a seller or a keeper? 👍🏻

Im pretty sure 1960s , but not 100% on that , they really put out the heat !!!!! Thank you 😊

I've seen some people take an old instalight Coleman and put a salad bowl on it and try to sell them for like 5 to $800.🙄
