Nice! I have the same rig except mine is a 73. We just used it today to till a nice size garden. I'm getting ready to put it on jack stands look under there to see how it all works, the variable speed lever is frozen and the brakes aren't that great. Does your variable speed work and I'm wondering what I'm gonna find as a braking system, Do you know where to find parts if needed?

They are a great machine. You are not alone on the Variable speed or the brakes. The variable speed works on an adjusting sheeve next to the 90 gear box under the seat. The keyway on most shafts are shot on these variable pulleys because .. well, they are over 50 years old. The brakes are under your left leg and is a band that tightens around a drum and pivots on a metal rod that is connected to your transaxle. If you have the metal brake collar, the brake band materials is readily available on amazon and such... good luck with your new machine.. its a fun addiction!

Wow! Sure wish we had a machine like this when I was growing up. All we had was a walk behind tiller...
