Point of contact is almost the same, maybe a bit more in the back of the ball for the topspin one. What changes is the racket angle and movement.

love ti long, so i hate to be the one to say it, but this ball is clearly not tossed 6 inches or 16 cm. 3:56 :( Essentially the ball and hand go up, and then the ball is dropped onto the racket. i wish table tennis in general would clean up its service problems... sorry ti long, still love you
