My local mall (Independence Mall in Wilmington NC) had a tilt that operated from 2000 to 2009, and my parents frequently go there for ddr (back when there was a ddr craze in the country), and after the arcade closed, they went to other local arcades that had a ddr game (e.g. Jungle Rapids) until they decide to play ddr on their respective computers (literally, thanks to stepmania) and eventually my dad bought a ddr cab for the house, and currently it runs simply love (popular stepmania/itg theme made by my parents' friends Lara & Matt)

I missed going to tilt at our local mall in Little Rock. Tilt was at that mall from 1988 to 2003.

I remember this in the Edison Mall. My then boyfriend before he was my husband use to visit this place time by time with me when he picked me up after work from Naples.

I used to have one at the Valencia Town Center. It had good nostalgic arcades and I mostly loved playing Initial D Arcade Stage Version 03, Sega Super GT, and Cruisin world there. It used to have Maximum Tune 3 there. Too bad it closed down and was replaced by Fun Factory, where it now has carnival games and less racing games like Cruis’n Blast.

Oh wow never knew that! I’ve been to that fun factory. The last tilt I know down here is this West Covina one and I heard tracy, CA also has 1 more

For arcades I still miss the old machines like Daytona USA, Initial D, and Maximum Tune. Now, it's just these ticket winning carnival games along with lesser shooting and racing games like Cruis'n Blast, Dead Heat, and a few others. Do you miss the old ones too? Round One is basically the last "safe haven" for Japanese arcade games like Initial D and Wangan Midnight.

I’ve been to a tilt studio but never just a tilt! I tried to go to one in St. Louis but when I went it apparently had permanently closed the week before 😂

I hated that arcade because all the claw machines were rigged to the point where not a single person would win ANYTHING. but the spiky ball/ticket claws are always promising.
@erikochristy11 ай бұрын
Not rigged at all but more like it requires timing in order to obtain anything. The trick was not to immediately push the button as the claw go down but instead delay pushing the button seconds before the claw begins to ascend in the machine. I've done this daily and would only lose like 3 out of 10 tries.

Tilt has been notorious for their cranes. This location was fair. I tried a few of the cranes. Obviously can’t be that easy to win
