But killing a capable enemy Rein with a throwaway ult like Whole Hog? Always a good trade. The award for worst ult in this match has to go to the enemy Tracer... pulse bombing a healthy Hog without backup is a pure waste. Stuff like this is the reason playing Rein is considered a pain in the a*. The moment Rein dies most teamfights in their rank are decided, hence he gets solo ulted a lot. Granted, if Cyx is playing Hog the same applies to Hog. Because people want him d.e.a.d at all costs, he is that much of a menace.

@@icicles_sss try winning a game without DPS heroes and going 2 main tanks. But, you can easily win with 2 off tanks and 2 other DPS. Hence this supports my argument that you cannot win games without DPS since they carry virtually all games.

@@ThisIsExile91 Yeah as a ball player, sometimes I get games where we run 0 shield on defense, and still roll them. Because my dps and even healers play aggressive. But bad dps players that can't play anything but symm or something, will complain "shield??" and that you shouldn't push up on offense. I agree, to an extent. But if you can get a pick and get out and keep pressure on them, you really don't need a shield lol. But then you have the games where it's like I'm getting shot by the whole team and I look at my team and they're just chillin lol... It's weird.

I do agree with alot about hog requiring buffs, but in general all tanks should probably get buffs as they aren't as opressive anymore since dps is just a very strong role, it is very dificult for a tank to win a game, if the dps really focuses a tank and your dps can't do anything because the disparity gap is so big so you auto loose or draw, it can be very frustrating when your range is so small and limited but even then it can be more annoying that heroes like reaper, mcree, hanzo, mei, doomfist can just 100-0 in a flash before you finish them off. Only with a combo support can aid you win the match but not by healing the tank but actually killing the dps for you. In general the issue i saw was never tanks being strong but flawed map designs that encourages a certain playstile.

I agree that certain hero designs are bad for Overwatch. But what I hate way more are bugged abilities like Rein's shatter and charge, to a certain extends hog's hock, Hanzo's arrows connecting when missing by 2 meters, the list goes on and on. Sometimes they connect when they shouldn't, sometime they don't when they should. For me, it is more frustrating to "loose" against bugs than to "unbalanced" hero design since I at least want to know what I'm up against and don't depend on sheer luck.

6:15-6:26 Amen. I firmly believe Brigitte is one of the reasons why Overwatch fell off as hard as it did. I get wanting to have a dedicated Tracer counter, but Brigitte is not how you do it. She's so focused on being anti-dive that she really has no other meaningful place in the game. Then, instead of owning up to the fact that Blizz screwed up while making Brig and attempt to rework her so that she's less toxic to play against, they just said screw it and implemented this BS 2-2-2 role-que system, specifically to stop people from running Goats comp anymore. Brigitte was an absolute disaster for the game, so big of one that not even Blizzard cared about trying to find balance in her toxic kit.

@@atari9477 No hero is "easy" Comparatively tho, they require only a few inputs and a lot of just waiting around to engage to get kills. They're not heavy on aim (ball more than doom if he's in his combat mode rather than ball mode). The reason they are unhealthy for the game is that they displace you AND do damage to you at the same time, while gaining shields or having a ton of health. Displacement abilities should not do damage. They are already punishment to get someone out of position. A ball can roll through an entire team, boop 6, and instantly get like 30-40% of his ultimate. There's enough narrow corridors on maps where that is extremely easy. Basically forcing the enemy team to go a stun character to deal with ball. It's not like with Pharah where you can try to ignore her and rush the backline, with ball you are pretty much required to have a Brig/Cas/Hog or Sombra on your team to deal with it if the ball is any good.

i think a cool change for hog would be reduce is healing to 200 hp BUT take a breather will now cancel negetive effects (anti nade, discord, ect...) and be immune to stuns during its duration

everyone blames orisa for being OP but i really think sigma has too much utility for his damage output. either nerf his shift, rock, or shield. orisa can't take any more nerfs, save for maybe a smaller ammo clip or fortify lasting a little less, but sig can receive hella nerfs and still be as viable in any comp as he is currently. he's like zarya/dva but better in every way, even down to his ult
