That,s not the point of the show. Floor have mate a list of songs that means a lot to her and songs wich she has song durring her career. So not only Nightwish but also after forever . There is always a mix of both. So you would never have got 6 Nightwish songs. It,s most of the times 3 songs from there career and 3 song with a special meaning.

I love this version, and I'm glad he picked it. However, it makes me think he wasn't familiar with Nightwish since he picked a Tarja song. It would have been great if he picked The Greatest Show on Earth. Imagine their reactions after realizing it's been 10 minutes and he wasn't even halfway done.

The official Nightwish biography mentions that initially "Nemo" was played faster and its tempo was slowed down in the process of working on a song. So we can say that Tim brought this song back to the "roots" :)

Yeah, I remember that. I believed it was mostly for Tarja, her singing style couldn't fit with this song at a faster pace. This somehow shows how it would be if they kept it faster.

@@LuisRdzG10 I don’t think that it was about Tarja - First of all, vocals are usually recorded at a late stage of work on a song, when the music has already been created. And secondly, the book says that Tuomas’s problems were precisely with the music, and not with the vocals in this song. In addition, on their early albums, the band created very fast power metal songs and Tarja's singing style never became an obstacle for this.

@@SokolRock Didn't Tuomas say something about the pace of Tarja's vocals of this song fit better in a lower pace? not in a book, jeez that albums is almos 20 years ago, but I recall somehow a interview way after the album release that he mentioned that it was a good call to make it slower that it was, and saying that Tarja's voice is appreciated better in that melody going slower. Nothing to do of her capabilities of course.

I love how this show is not about competition. It's about respect and love for music and singing as a whole. Sometimes it's stepping out of your comfort zone into another genre or style and sometimes it's taking a song and giving your own twist on it. Some of it is more successful than others, but it's all a celebration of music so that's always a win! I love this version of Nemo though, so much energy in it and definitely one of Tim's best performances.

I know I am late to the party here, but I love this version of Nemo! As a fan of Nightwish in general and Nemo in particular, I was a little leery as to how Tim would handle it, but I think he really gave it a nice Rock Album rendition of the song. The fast, upbeat tempo and gravel he put into his voice really gave a nice touch to an already amazing song.

Wow! I am impressed with this version of Nemo. He took one of my favorite songs and made it entirely his own. It’s a little less gothic/symphonic metal and a little more hard rock with power influences now. He sounded nice! :D

I love it! I grew up with Di-Rect and then kind of forgot about them and Tim. About ten years ago through Ayreon I learned of Floor (and After Forever) and when she joined Nightwish I was absolutely stoked! Then years later that event eventually leads to one of the singers I listened to the most during my early teens nailing a Nightwish song in his own style. I am loving Tim's performances on this show. As someone who listens to all kinds of genres, this show is perfect (and has been for years), so many passionate and talented singers out there. But seeing under appreciated metal genres being represented is a treat.
