I mean, I don't really understand why this was such a big deal tho. Like, if this happened in an NHL game, it would've just been another NHL game. A simple 2 minutes in the penalty box a few quick showings on ESPN the next day and that's it.. Why is it that the NHL is the only sport besides of course boxing and UFC that allows fights? The refs literally stand there and watch for a good 60 seconds while they just throw punches at each other. But, the NFL, NBA, MLB ect have a zero tolerance for it with immediate elections, major fines, and suspensions. They need to learn from the NHL and just give em a good 30-45 seconds to go at it, throw a small foul and move on. The whole Twitter thing is weird tho, I'll admit that..

I just hate when a fight happens in any sport besides boxing or the UFC and it's breaking news on ESPN. Even an NHL fight is just a quick highlight and everyone moves on. But, in any other sport, there's immediate breaking news, topic of the day in sports media, rejections, suspensions, huge & fines. They call fighting an "embarrassment" or something along those lines and there's zero tolerance for it. I just don't understand. Oh and also, if I were to get into a fight, I get arrested and have to go to jail, pay a fine and its on my record for life. They get into a fight in front of alllll the police who are doing security, they let them go at it for a good 60 seconds and then get a simple 2 mins in a penalty box. It just doesn't make sense.
