I don’t think people realized how influential and significant she is in gospel music! She is the first and only gospel artist that crossed over in endorsements. She was a spokes person for Aunt Jemima pancake mix. With no agent, all in her own muscle. Plus she funny as all get out. She really could have been a comedian. Watching her overwhelmed and proud! I wonder if she ever thought like “That is my song huh? What was I going through cause baby them notes was HIGH”. Plus Tim makes so much sense I just learned that’s his aunt. I knew that voice was hereditary. Sometimes that gifts are hereditary and as a result is improved on the original concept every generation.
