Canelo has been slaying monsters for years - remember Khan? He would still be weight-bullying fighters if he could. Did anyone else notice that he moved up for bigger challenges as soon as the tainted meat scam got exposed. Then instead of challenging the best of his era without bias, he turned diva and developed a cherrypicking strategy with his slick handlers. Oscar was complicit so his criticism of Canelo is pointless now. REAL Mexican fighters have always represented boxing well. Canelo was not cut from the same cloth. It was Benavidez who ducked the fights to be in Canelo's shoes and just ran to request a Gvozdyk eliminator when the WBC was set to rule on his status.

Munguía knocked down Liam Smith at 4th round whom Canelo didn't cause much damage to and KO'd until the 9th round.
