Timmy went up against Dirk and Nash when they were together, Kobe and Shaq when they were together and still got the ring. GOAT PF

@@atlanta1290 FALSE. Tony Parker was a sophomore who had yet to make an allstar team, mani ginobili was LITERALLY a Rookie in his first year. Duncan in 2003 was the only allstar and all NBA player on his team, and he bodied kobe/Shaq and Dirk/nash by himself. He was a fucking beast

@@atlanta1290 I mean yeah, nobody can do it alone 1-5.... But shots were available due to defenses making duncan the main focus, and even stacked teams with hall of famers like Kobe, Shaq, Dirk, nash couldn't stop duncan. Duncan did something Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, magic, Kareem, ect couldn't do.... That's LITERALLY win without allstar or all nba help..

@@atlanta1290 Ben Wallace didn't play offense and wasn't that caliber of player to consider in that conversation. In the early 00s 25 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 blocks a game is great during an era with slower pace, and lower scoring, and defensive minded basketball. Duncan was also first team all nba, and first team all defense. He had vets, but he had no allstars, you can try and diminish it,.... But you can't considering most of the other top 10 greats couldn't do it. Then when you factor in who he beat, it's true greatness. Even Stephen Jackson and Kobe admitted recently before he died that duncan was by himself and unstoppable that year... Go look up the interview with him, Stephen Jackson, and Matt Barnes, it came out earlier this year. Duncan even dropped a quadruple double in the Finals to win the championship. Dude was a savage!

Chicago and Jordan was absolutely amazing, but they never faced to franchise players together, by mean franchise guys who individual won mvp and took theirs team to conference final. Duncan faced multiple times, Kobe and shaq, Russell, durant and harden, dirk and Steve Nash , lebron and D Wade etcc. So when you talk about greatest players Tim Duncan should be at least #2

Tim Duncan - 2003 regular season MVP Tim Duncan - 2003 NBA Finals MVP setting a NBA Finals record for most blocks in a six game series - 32 Tim Duncan - 2003 San Antonio Spurs *NBA champion* Tim Duncan deserved to win the NBA title in 2003 ending the Los Angeles Lakers three year reign from 2000-2002 of the Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant era. He is one of nine players to win the regular season MVP, NBA Finals MVP and the NBA championship in the same season. Willis Reed, Kareem Abdul Jabaar, Moses Malone, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal and LeBron James accomplished this same feat as well making this an elite group.

@@atlanta1290 LOL where did you get that info? Parker was averaging 15 in the regular season and Manu was averaging 7.. In the playoffs Tony ave 14 and Manu 9..Basically almost same production from the regular season and playoffs..And the other players(admiral,stax,bowen) almost have the same production in the season and playoffs

@@atlanta1290 Played very well?you mean Parker averaging 16 in this series..Or is it Manu 9 PPG?Have you watch game 6 of this series? Can you tell me why did they inserted Kerr in game 6 and TP not finishing the game?IF there was any help from Duncan in this series, it wasnt from those 2 guys, it was from Captain Jax.. And just wanna add..Why do you think SA was targeting Jason Kidd after that 2003 Season? They already have TP at that time..

@@atlanta1290 Dude get your facts right...Were talking about this dallas series..DUncan had 32 in game 2.. and they lost game 1 against Dallas which happens to be this video..your talking about the Lakers series..The Stephen Jackson part, Im saying he was more vital in that playoffs in terms of his ability to defend and score compare to the 2 that you keep on praising..I have nothing against those two guys..I feel they were a great compliment to Tim's other championships, but this 2003 playoffs they werent as good as you claim them to be..Parker in game 5 had 7 and game 6 of THIS Dallas Series didnt even score..and Manu for the NTH time average 9PPG in this series...And you keep saying big moments..So lets play by your thinking, do you agree with me that Lebron James had help in 2007 since Boobie Gibson had 31 points in game 6 of their series against the pistons?
@juliusmartin38235 жыл бұрын
@@atlanta1290 Pursuing him at that Time makes no sense for the Spurs, since they have TP, and that was after they defeated Kidd and the Nets.. It only means they needed an upgrade at the PG position..Ofcourse the lakers would try to get him..they dont have a decent point guard except for fisher which is more of a role player.. and Jannero Pargo was like in his second year in the league and they lost lindsay hunter(after 2002 championship) who was a great defender at that point guard position..

@@atlanta1290 Im not comparing TP and Gibson..you keep on saying big moments and acting they were having a consistent playoffs..thats why i gave you the Gibson argument since boobie had 31 points in the closer of their Pistons series and some people think lebron james didnt have any help..if big moments is a help by your argument, then clearly lebron had help as well in 2007.. Plus Im not disregarding TP and Manu's greatness as a player..but lets not act like they were consistent in this playoff run..Theres a reason why this 2003 playoff run by TD is considered by many as one of the greatest run by any player..
