Tim Holtz Stamp Platform review

I just received my stamp platform and found your uTube. Your instruction was very clear, simple and answered my initial question when I opened the box. Thanks so much! Tim owes you one! and now I have to go back to the store and purchase that Concord & 9th alphabet stamp set; I saw it the other day and decided I didn't think it would line up close enough together so seamlessly.

Tiffany Solorio No apologies needed, and thanks for the reply. I hope Tim can get his product on the market after dealing with that MISTI chick. For the price of her largest stamping tool I can buy 3 or 4 of the Stamp Platforms (some companies have them less than the retail price). Thanks again!

I have not seen the misti in person but I do know that the TH platform is so sturdy and I LOVE that you can do any size paper. I have some 11X14 paper that I use for coloring my images and I love that I don't have to cut it before I do my stamping.

They are available in the uk, but I think they will be available in the us in august. I received mine as a freebie for subscribing to a magazine. Love it. I also have the Misti but this is much superior in the design. Tim has taken the idea and adapted it to his needs, it is not a direct copy as the Hampton arts one was. X

Stephanie Drury Thanks for the info. Yeah I see it is not a direct copy of the MISTI like that chick claims. I am now hearing it will start shipping in June. Hope it's true. You're not the only person that said the stamp platform is better than the MISTI. Thanks again.

Hi Tiff :-0 I'm like you.... I am so glad I waited and not purchase the other ones out there. When I saw him debut it - I was like "YES!!!" lol.... I'm waiting patiently to order it! I love that you can use both types of stamps and it's a sturdy tool! The link you shared for it is not working. Can you tell me where you got it so I can go order it? I would do all the letters at once. just line them up. seems to take forever if you did one letter at a time

For these stamps they have to almost overlap so to get the look that it was written you have to do them individually. I do wish I could line them all up. lol. Thanks for watching.

Yes! I Learned about the lawsuit maybe days after you posted. I believe Tonic will move forward its just going to take time. I think it is all public record if you want the full details. :)

fishingnana72 Great tutorial. Just today I looked at someone else's video of the stamp platform. They quoted a recent letter from Tonic that said they just came out with a new version that will substitute for the original one. They did not say what change or changes have been made. It will be interesting to see what changes were made when, and if, they are able to ship. I just ordered the stamp platform from the UK; I live in the US. I hope I get the original one :-).

Oh interesting. I am curious to know the differences too. I was contacted by scrapbook.com as a collab with Tonic to try it out so I only get tid bits of info of what is going on. I am sure Tim Holtz made it even more awesome. (I am not sure if it is possible though lol) I hope your platform comes soon!
