Tim joins me for a little detecting

We took the equinox and the legend out for a bit of detecting. In the end both detectors performed pretty close to the same.

The first time I saw a metal detectorist use the Legend I was impressed with the ability of it to pinpoint. That orange part on Tims' Equinox to prevent his hand going up into the control I will have to consider one for my Equinox. Thanks for the video.

No doubt Tim WILL get it out! Also, yes excellent sod, grass replacement. A true detectorist will always be polite, helpful and will leave an area pretty much as it was found.

I have owned both detectors and you cant go wrong with the Legend for the price. We compared a lot of signals today and there was really no clear winner as far as target accuracy, depth, etc. We did find several deeper targets off camera and they both hit them about the same.

Best thing I learned from this channel is to dig my targets with a screwdriver. 90% can be retrieved that way and you leave virtually no sign you where ever there. Thanks Bill!!!!
