Why not? Jaylen has a better defence than anyone mentioned besides Mitchell, who is slightly ahead in defence rating. The offence numbers are as close to any of the players mentioned, but Jaylen shares the ball more because of the other stars on the team. Also, Jaylen plays on the team with the best record. All I'm saying is he should have been mentioned but he gets overlooked

Did you actually listen to the discussion? The point they were making is he's a terrible defender largely because he gives zero effort on that end of the floor. Lots of younger player that are dominant offensively have to eventually take defense more seriously if they're going lead teams to real success. Magic, for example, became a better defender as his career went on. Melo didn't. So far Luka is on the Melo track. He's behind schedule in making the transition to becoming more of a two way player.

Come on. Advanced defensive stats are sketchy at best. Those same stats have had Jokic as a top defender over the past few years. I'm a Nuggets fan and grateful for the progress he's made on that end but I also actually watch the games. He's a mediocre defender at best. Unless you're biased if you watch Luka you can't draw any other conclusion than that he's a poor defender.
