Tim if this isn’t a series…it needs to be. With a playlist.

This needs to be a full series on Truefire. I sing. This is exactly what I have been looking for. By the way Tim, I really enjoy your singing. You're quite effective in this style

I agree with the guys before: These videos with the singer - guitar duo approach are good niche, I guess. I found a lot of value, and new material in it, as always well explained. Thank you!

Thanks for this video series about singer comping! It's very relevant and interesting topic for me! If possible, please make some short video of how you would comp a "Fly me to the moon" in the key of G.

TIM… alright I haven’t even finished this video yet but had to gush about your singing. Just bought and have started reading through a couple of your books because I want to work on my chordal movements to accompany myself more compellingly as a solo singing-guitarist playing mostly swing. ANYWAY (that was just context, not the point of my comment)… your VOICE!!! Obviously your musical sensibility and guitar playing is clearly the work and devotion of well applied time and discipline (“chef’s kiss”) but your vocal performances here are just so so great. Your delivery and feel vocally had me making “the face” and bobbing my head along with you. Wow, blown away. ❤

There is no assumption, I’m broadcasting to a large and unknown audience. If you’d like to study what i’m doing in the video, there is a pdf of the chord shapes available at www.timlerch.com thank you for watching.

The pdf is worth getting @colincannings7946. It doesn’t match up exactly with what Tim is playing note for note on the video, but it gives you a general way to primarily use your ears and work out how you want to play this in your own way. If you don’t know how to read the charts, sign up for Tim’s newsletter and he sends you a pdf to teach you.
