I was born in the mountains, (mom, dad, and I are all full bred hillbilly’s. My little brother and sister where born in Michigan. They’re not hillbilly’s, but have the smoky mountain blood in em) and my parents moved us to Michigan when I was 7-8 years old. We made snow cream all the time during winter. Wonderful, cheap, and delicious! That was 50 years ago. Thanks for that great memory! Live in Australia now (married a Aussie gal) haven’t seen snow in nearly 20 years.

I can honestly say though I've had Tim Smith moonshine climax I haven't tried the other dudes but I'm here to say Tim's will nip it in the bud for you I just wish they would redo it with plain moonshine and no flavors that would be a fair contest I mean plain moonshine versus flavored come on

its not really a fair comparison if they're going to start adding flavors. I tried all those super yeast recipes and went back to good old tomato wash recipe. TPW or birdwatcher recipe. there are handy calculators for amounts online. Water, sugar, tomato paste, quick rise bread yeast, a dash of epsom salts and some lemon juice to bring the water PH down. Do not exceed 10% PABV or the yeast will strain and you will get off flavors. Do it this way and all you'll need to do is one stripping run and one distilling/serperation run to get a nice moonshine. Here's a secrete I leared recently. If you add food glycol to the shine it will smell and taste just like vodka if that's what you desire. I still learn things watching vids.. Sorry for the long post.
