This is purely and simply comedy. It doesn’t come from any dark or deep-seated problem with anger repression or Tourette’s , just Tim’s genius sense of humour and acting ability. Looove it!

He went the tourettes route because his anger is buried deep inside of him, his personality is split so you have the nice Tim then you have the tourettes side of his personality that is expressing the anger in him. To me this is one of his more clever pieces even though it comes across as very silly.

@@L8bloomer_Audi He also has never struggled with social anxiety or tourettes to the best of my knowledge, he comes across as quite socially anxious when he does his comedy but this is more a stage persona than a reflection of Tim's real personality. Off stage he is quite different and comes across as fairly confident and insanely intelligent. He won the Dawkins award last year for his contributions to science and reason and its worth a watch if you get the chance. Its a little over an hour long but I found it very enjoyable listening to Richard Dawkins and Tim Minchin have an intelligent conversation, something that doesn't happen too often these days lol

These back to back might alter you somehow. You’ll just never be the same. This is a great version. Cameras worked it out well. I THINK YOU SHOULD GUESS WHAT IS TO COME! I find you amazing as it goes but guessing Tim’s brain might be scary right or wrong.
