Bowie-esque but beautifully refreshingly original still! Truth is I've heard over 30,000 Songs from Bob Dylan to Slayer to NAS... but something is particularly inspiring to me about Minchin's approach/story. The only other originally "truly indie" artist I regard similarly is "Hammell On Trial".
