Amazing to hear him randomly riff with such such virtuosity. I would definitely buy a blues/jazz album. Love just him sans 55 piece orchestra etc. Listening in January of 2021. Why hasn't this come across my feed sooner, youtube? At least 80% of my clicks and searches are Minchin related. Cause, yeah, I'm blissfully obsessed. And stumbling on.

I knew that in my Minchin questing I had heard him sing The Night Will Come. GHD cast recording is great, but there is just something about his voice - and that bit of jazz at the end! Beautiful. Happy to wander here again today and rediscover it. Thank you for posting. I really appreciate it.

There've been some blues improvisations, T-Bone Walker's "Stormy Monday", if I'm not mistaken, and then - "Night will Come" from Tim's musical "Groundhog Day".
