They had a Help Wanted sign up, so I thought it was kinda funny, like you guys asked me to be here first. Anyways that particular location went out of business shortly after so it was probably a good thing I didn't get it

Same! I've seen many actors kind of say this or some variation, and then act like it's a joke. Acting is essentially a "gig" job. You get paid for the "gig", if you can live off that for awhile you might not pick up another one right away, but eventually the money will run out and you'll have to get another "gig". That means sometimes you'll have to take a job you might not want because you need to work. I think a lot of people don't realize that while actors make a lot more money per job than most regular people, their expenses are probably quite a bit higher too.

Yes, Tim Russ was very good in the role, but to be fair, Tuvok and Sarek are the only two fully realized Vulcan characters in all of _Star Trek,_ so there's really not a lot of competition in the "best Vulcan actor" category.
