We all know the reason why Tim Russ wanted this role. He wanted to be known for being on a series that was going to last for a few seasons. He didnt want to be known for combing the desert and saying 'We aint found s&*t.'

I think its funny that people ask actors who ended up with iconic roles why they went for that role. I needed a job. Literally is the same answer to 'why do you want to work at company x?'

@@variaxi935 I said this at an interview and didn't get the job. It was at a Hallmark store and it was one of the first jobs I applied for. They had a Help Wanted sign up, so I thought it was kinda funny, like you guys asked me to be here first. Anyways that particular location went out of business shortly after so it was probably a good thing I didn't get it
@jugglergirl20km Жыл бұрын
Same! I've seen many actors kind of say this or some variation, and then act like it's a joke. Acting is essentially a "gig" job. You get paid for the "gig", if you can live off that for awhile you might not pick up another one right away, but eventually the money will run out and you'll have to get another "gig". That means sometimes you'll have to take a job you might not want because you need to work. I think a lot of people don't realize that while actors make a lot more money per job than most regular people, their expenses are probably quite a bit higher too.
