The 80s had so much to offer. Even some of the bad music was good.

Always love seeing the 45s, especially now, during the Year of the 45. Fascination! - such a great song; I have the ep with extended versions. I saw a couple of the bands you showed - Pretenders, B52s, U2, Stray Cats. Wow! You did.close big - those last three you showed (I won't spoil it here) are the '80s personified! lol Thanks for showing the records Tim!

Thanks so much sir. Appreciate all the kind words. The 80s just delivered so much to us. Pop, new wave, post punk, rock, we really did have a lot of fantastic music. Those last three are set pieces when I did 80s nights spinning. Like you said, iconic tracks.

Ha ha. I couldn't remember Kon Kan until you played it. Nice to see all those clean picture sleeves. I love that Pretenders Sleeve and that is perfect for them. Oh man...to cool to see a 7" of Right Said Fred. I would have grabbed that one for sure! Love Shack and Rome on on 7"... that's a steal. The funny thing about Adam Ant is that he was really huge everywhere else but here. M|A|R|R|S is a must and I have a 12" of that one. You couldn't have ended with a better three records. This was fun!

Extra points for taking the time to put MARRS as it appears! I think I have a 12 inch as well. Funny story, we liked it on 33 speed as well, so my friend and I would rock doubles of it and the intro was a nice break for scratching. I love finding picture sleeves (or having the correct company sleeve for the 45), its very satisfying. Wait till the next installment, you will see what I mean. Those last three, there are others that hit that level of iconic, but no arguing that they are set closers for an 80s night. Makes me think of our DJ to DJ talks. Those were great.

Not to make this about the shows that I have seen. But. I remember seeing Quiet Riot at the Paradise Rock Club in and around 1983. I have not heard that Mama Were All Crazy Now song in years. I do remember seeing a fan of the band banging his head on a cement wall after the show got out. True story. The things that people do for their rock and roll heroes. {smile} >< Pump Up The Volume had a slew of remixes. >< Wow. Have not heard Send Me an Angel in years. Well done once again T~

Quiet Riot were a great band that seemed to always have forces against them. I always thought Kevin Dubrow was a great hard rock/metal singer who was never given his due. Sad he never got clean. Send Me An Angel is one of those songs I think of when I think "80s". Its a perfect example of the times. Too bad they could never match that success again.

Hello 🧔♂Tim; The 45 rpm spins continue. With some Funk, Soul, Disco, Techno & Roll. Needle drops a plenty. George Clinton the innovator of fuzz/psych/funk with some soul. Along with Def Leppard, Quite Riot, Pretenders, U2, Stray Cats, & the Buggles to name the one that started the videos playing. Take care, 🙎♀Tina &🙎♂Pat!~

Hi Tina and Pat! Hope you both are well. The 80s really gave so much to us. The MTV generation had so much discovery. Thanks as always for the support
