And people have asked why I have chosen USCCA. These words have said it all. Thanks Tim. I hope that the member that you quoted wasn't terminated, but rather coached and retained their job. We all make mistakes, we all say things we didn't mean to say, we all have given less-than-stellar advice. Education, not retaliation is at times stronger to hold a company's core values intact.

Tim, I had a similar interaction with your support team on 4/16 when I asked them whether the USCCA covered Red Flag and ERPO defense in their insurance. I received the same cut and pasted response. I responded with information about why that response was inappropriate and they said they would share my info with their manager and the USCCA Executive team. Not sure if I had any impact on your statement, but I am glad to see you reiterate the USCCA position on Red Flag and ERPO laws and am even more encouraged to hear you say you are working on incorporating coverage into the USCCA membership in the future. Thanks for making USCCA a leader in the industry. Keep up the good work.

This is why I admire Tim. As he said he is the president of the USCCA and ultimately is responsible for everything that goes on in his company. I ran into the same type of response when I called in a couple of weeks ago to ask about any Red Flag coverage. Maybe not as flagrant a reply but more a simplified NO. With no explanation and no indication that the insurance coverage would change. With all the nonsense that is happening @ the NRA, I could only assume the worst. Glad Tim made this post. Still a great company and I had no doubts that things would change.

Let me say first that I am a member of the uscca. Second I applaud Tim for setting the record straight. That being said I am not someone who normally comment on videos, however I felt like I should on this one it is not often that you will see the president of a company come out and take responsibility for the actions of someone in his organization when they have made a mistake. I'm happy to be a member of the USCCA, and plan on staying with the USCCA. My only hope is that the employee wasn't fired over this. Tim, I respect you stepping up and adminting an error initiated by USCCA. Could you also be transparent about 'clients' living in the State of Washington who you no longer will support? Several Northwest Firearms web site subscibers received a letter from USCCA dropping them as clients because of the 'state of Washington policies'. If you have no plan or explanation of what your strategy currently is, you risk a slippery slope where other state clients will move to another Service Provider, whose conditions mirror those in WA; for example CA and OR. What's the plan, Tim?
