I feel bad for Tim. He is WAY better than RG3 yet never really got a chance. First year in NFL he took the Broncos to the Playoffs. Then goes to the Jets and was for some reason sidelined by fucking Mark Sanchez who is absolute garbage in everything he does. Everytime Tebow was put in he did great or the receivers would drop a pass. What the NFL did to Tim Tebow was absolute bullshit and absolutely unfair to him.
@davidmerritt4091

But the year he went to the playoffs the offense was averaging 13 points a game he was only throwing it 10 times a whole fucking game the receivers were getting tired of playing

I got to watch him lift and listen to him speak through Athletes in Action at UCLA, he was here training with our head strength coach I believe. He is one of the most down to Earth, humble guys I've ever met. Plus, the guy's an absolute monster in the weight room. I was doin my power cleans at 155 while he was deadlifting upwards of 500lbs for sets.

I'm not a Tebow fan, but I give the kid a lot of credit. Brad Gilbert wrote a book about tennis called "winning ugly" and that's what Tebow does. It's not pretty, or normal but he is a winner.

Tim Tebow is a tremendous athlete, dedicated to improving himself, and a solid role model for kids. In an era where sports stars have taken steroids, been accused / convicted of crimes, and do it for the money, it is uplifting to see a guy like Tebow succeeding. I love the fact that he's doing this despite what the critics say. I am not a Broncos fan nor a Florida fan, but have come to appreciate Tebow for taking a stance and being a strong leader. He is someone kids should idolize.

Interesting to hear him talking about how his edge is being so well-conditioned that he's still strong when others get tired. So that explains Tebow Time in the 4th quarters...
@ffryan
@ffryan 12 жыл бұрын
@J3ui That was thinking that applied 10-15 years ago. It is essential for quarterbacks to be great athletes these days. The game is more physically demanding as is the quarterback position. There is a lot more to that position than merely throwing the ball. It's kind of hard to engineer a late 4th quarter drive when you're tired, your legs feel like mush and you can barely hold your arms up.

Even if Tebow is able to be part of a Superbowl Championship as a QB his many critics will still discount it as either 'lucky' or a series of events that cannot be explained other than 'divine intervention'. Many of his critics have been digging for a flaw in Tebow's character for years and have come short hoping for that big story, and now the sharks will surround Tebow constantly in their relentless search to tarnish his character. Tim knows this, and is always ready to face the challenges.

He should've been willing to do a different position but he only wanted to be a qb.. Maybe he could've been good as a wr .. Or a line backer? He'd still be in the nfl if he had explored other options but the qb glory is too hard to give up I guess ..granted it's not easy changing positions but he didn't try when maybe he could've successful

tebow is top 6 QB in the league. He just wins. He's tough and can run you over, but maybe getting out of NFL isn't bad cause it's a dangerous league. He will be motivated and tough in the business of creating something beneficial. Definitely can open up his own camp if he wants

correction QB's are hired to lead offenses and win, and i find nothing wrong with Micheal vick. running QB's are there because it makes playing defense much harder its hard enough to shut down wide receivers nowadays with the direction NFL offenses are going, but even when you have perfect coverage and you still give up yardage

@MrGRAM6 Actually the athletes who train hardest in the off season, regardless of the sport they play, tend to be the healthiest and most injury free athletes. Besides workout programs like this have rest periods built into them because muscle grows and matures during times of rest. During the season nobody is working out like this.

Say what you want about him, but I'd sign him based only on his work ethic. He's not a star QB, but the type who gets the whole team involved and gets them to rally around him...that's a true leader. Some QB's are game-changers based on their own ability, some are leaders who bring the entire team up to their best. He is the latter...

@ffryan Wrong! That's the main damn thing to the position is throwing the ball. Snap, hold for 2 seconds, throw. Play's dead, rest for 30 seconds! You kidding me? QB doesnt need to be the best athlete on the field. Tebow is a beast and is incredibly gifted physically. My point is spend more damn time on your weakness, which is throwing the effing BALL! There's no way you'll have sustainable success in this league if your complete percentage is below 50 and you can't move the ball on 3rd down

i don't think that season was his fault, if anything Micheal Vick going to the eagles improved how he played dramatically,, he's much more of a pocket passer, he's alot less selfish, and no body on his team played hard last he should've had alot more touchdowns(off the top of my head, desean jax dropped 2 in the rams game, and vick had a rushing TD taken away in the bills game), and in a terrible season he passed his career high in passing yards, last season was definitely not his fault
