Black text is much easier to read ....and knowing when to quit when training any horse is critical to achieving a goal! So many push a bit too far and ask for too much. One storm and all is undone! This is such a nice mare, and I am so glad she is showing a solid side to her thinking! I remember her so utterly frightened of the cows she thought about trying to jump out of the arena?

Wonderful to see how you introduced this new thing, and finished the session while she was happy and relaxed. Im about to start doing similar with my mare, (who is also terrified of cows, and sheep!) but very confident with ropes around her legs, and being twirled around, which I have done a lot of on the ground. Being more of a lazy type, I am always searching for things with a purpose to do to keep her mind engaged, particularly as some of the things i'm teaching her can seem hard, and a bit pointless to her.

Absolutely great lesson for the mare. It translates to horses and tape fences. They don't panic it touches feet and body. I would open tape gates this way. I put it down to the guy who started them.
