One of the things I like about your training is that you don't hawk equipment like some of the "flashy" trainers do. I went to one clinic years ago where it seemed almost like a smoke and mirrors show. The trainer was very talented, to be sure, but he spent a lot of time talking about his videos (several hundreds of dollars), and his training equipment (lunge whips with his name on them). It just seemed more like a magic show than anything else. I like your common sense approach. Only now and then do you talk about a particular product you like -- like that immune builder that Bob and Hope were on. Mostly you just tell people what you what brands you like to use for what, then give them a link to it if they're interested. It is very obvious that, while this is a business, your goal is to help both horses and their owners. And that is really refreshing. I feel like I've learned a whole lot from you.

Sorry to have missed the live feed yesterday. Catching up today. I enjoy all of your videos! There's always something I learn. I find what you do and how you do these videos is fine. They're packed with plenty of good information to take and work with my horses.

Yes. You need to do what they do around you regarding feed, alfalfa and grass hay, acclimating to the environment.

I really appreciate your videos when a horse is not doing exactly what you want, ie. Steele, Dan, ect . It is so helpful to re watch and follow exactly what you or Robert are doing to deal with the problem. It has been a huge help for me to be able to study your methods.

Please don't share with the owner the negative comments. There are mean spirited people who enjoy criticizing. The owners got their horses to you. That is more than most would do. And, you are right. It is social media. Just like with dog training, you must train the people as they have created the problem dog. Same with horses. Yes. For success the owners must change. Steve Young shows the people with learning how to work their horses. It works for him, but I can imagine he gets awful comments. He only says positive things on his channel and I assume he doesn't share the negative. But, there is no point. You are training for specific owner.

Y'all got more snow in MS at one time than I did in VT last week. I was born in Jackson, MS in '54.....I remember the snow in '63....I know that 7 and a half amount of snow is Way abnormal for MS....and indeed the entire deep South. Be careful...stay safe. I wonder how the horses are taking it? Thanks for all you do!! ❤

Guess if you want to rinse the horse off, it helps to have heated water. Parts of the country, you wouldn't want to rinse off unless you are in a heated area. Some barns are so cold that the pee hardens in the stalls.

I guess y'all got a taste of the Midwest! If the water pipes don't freeze everything just goes at a different pace. Stay safe! Drive like you would on a mud road.

Besides suffering from cold temps in WI, we have to deal with the frozen ground. Recently, one of our horses was running in the yard, slipped on the frozen ground, and then he went sliding on his side for like 30 feet! He ended up with a skinned up fetlock on the inside of his front leg, but seemed fine otherwise. 'Hate to think what would have happened with a rider onboard. That spot did not seem icy, just hard, frozen ground with a little snow. Safety reasons keep us on the ground when there is little snow and extreme cold, anything below 20 dgreees F. If the ground is frozen, the horses are on vacation unless we have some soft snow. Your low temps sound like a luxury to me, but I'm too entrenched to move.

I did not know you have record snow. Every horse must be blanketed or some heating source in the barns. How awful. I have no horse at this time, but watch you because it keeps my heart alive. I listen and watch you all the time. 6 to 7 inches is enough to shut down stuff in PA. We have immediate street plows, but we have to keep our driveways and sidewalks clear. That is significant snow. And when it doesn't get back to under freezing, it stays snow over ice. It's called the Arctic Blast. We have all been hit by it. The good thing is that it will kill some of your bugs. Usually will kill fleas and tics. Be nice to kill snakes. It is outrageous for your area. Would it be possible for you to take us to a show once in a while? Just an idea. Another idea would be somehow to show us a diagram or something. Like use of spurs and lifting shoulders, working on stronger rears. Those are difficult training methods to see, but I really like it when you are telling us what you are doing with the spurs and what leg, etc. What we can't see easily is their attitude and what the horse is doing to show that attitude. I am happy with what you are doing. I absolutely agree with your on training.

In 1 January 1964, we had about five or 6 inches no it started. It started New Year’s Eve, which it could’ve been December 31

One more thing, would you be interested in doing the Mustang Magic competition in Fort Worth, TX? The required parts look similar to trail and ranch horse competitions, just with 100 days with a BLM mustang. I was watching the trials this week and thought of you.

The time that it takes working a mustang for one of those competitions would mean that I wouldn't have time to work all the other horses in training.
