I went into it thinking Tim lost his vibe. But I was surprised, I thought it was tight. I like how he chopped Gil's line. The head nod factor is mos definitely there.

Yea that’s what I was thinking to but I always have to remember it’s a process sometimes it sounds a little iffy before it all makes since. It was nice seeing a bit of his sampling process. I do wish they could have gone deeper into that but it’s all good. It’s definitely got me nodding too. Thanks for watching along with me man.

Good grief. That shit sucked to high heaven.

Maybe I’ll do one… maybe not lol. I’ve been testing myself trying the same format… just picking out random songs to sample and try to make beats. It’s fun. 😎👍🏽

You have to do it man you spoke it so it’s already a done deal so get ready for the invite it’s coming lol 😎👊🏾 and yes sampling is fun I started a couple years ago and have been doing it ever since in many of my productions.

@ lol. I don’t see myself featured on RR. They don’t let unknowns on there. lol. I would put down some dope work though 😎 Keep up the good work. 😎👊🏽

Look you are only unknown until you are known man it’s a journey for sure and we are all doing it at the same time keep grinding man you never know what amazing opportunities will come.

@ that’s true… you never know. Just subbed to your channel. Stop by mine. I don’t do tutorials. I just post what I make as I make it. All kinds of instrumentals. 😎👍🏽

He chopped the sample to fit his sound as opposed to chopping it like everyone else does. Arrangement, drums, and accompanying sound selection and instrumentation is just as important maybe more than just chopping the samples

i was disappointed on him doing this. It was like he was not into it. Like let me just do it and get it over with.

Y’all trippin. Tim did exactly what I expected. Such an unfortunate episode
@midwestnate3 күн бұрын
What did you think he was going to do? I knew it would be more of a “ Let me check this off my list” kind of situation but I didn’t think the music was necessarily bad per say I just think that episode could have given us more and it could have been more organic.
@themayne63032 күн бұрын
@ you mean Timothy could’ve gave us more? Oh I thought Tim was gonna do just what he ended up doing.

Right I thought Tim could have given more

@ yeah but it’s Tim. I’d be disappointed if it was Madlib or alchemist or a producer that’s in that particular vein. Like I said Tim did the expected to me.

Kanye flip that sample way better... People are for two reasons... Reason 1 He would have called that trash on his beat review... Reason 2 he took the EASY route using that sample he didn't challenge himself.
@midwestnate3 күн бұрын
I can agree with that I’ve watched his reviews since he started years ago and he definitely would have called it trash. I’ve heard some good music on his lives and I’m sure he has discouraged many people. That’s what leads me to believe that a lot of these big producers don’t really have the skills they claim to have. Or maybe they just like to gate keep their processes a bit but he definitely just did the bare minimum. I agree with that.

It was trash only cause Tim goes hard on producers and that sample Tim knows Kanye already has a whole hit with and if u go listen to Kanye’s and then listen to this you will know….. it wasn’t the creative road that rhythm roulette is striving to get from producers … tim took the easy lazy route on this one

It was pretty basic but I was thinking it wasn’t good at all from others reviews. I will say that it did seem rushed though it would have been nice to see the full process.
